Soft, slow-recovery foam is designed to mold to the shape of the ear canal and provide a noise reducing seal. Proprietary energy-absorbing foam is initially firm, to make fitting the earplug easier, then softens once it’s in the ear to comfortably expand and conform to the shape of the ear canal. Moisture resistant foam maintains slow expansion during earplug insertion and keeps its size and shape even in humid environments. A cylindrical shape in regular size fits most. The small size has a diameter that is 7% less than that of the regular size for smaller ear canals. The plus size is 20% longer than the regular size for larger ear canals.
