Every successful company, at some point, has to answer the question "why do we exist? Knowing its role - its mission - in the personal protective equipment world, it gives a company a sense of purpose. At Ritz Safety, we began answering this question when we first opened our doors in 1983, and our ability to formulate the right answer has enabled us to grow from a two-person operation in South Florida to one currently consisting of over 120 team members and 13 locations nationwide.

The mission of Ritz Safety, like the company itself, has changed with the times. In the beginning, our mission was simply to provide work boots and gloves to the local market, selling out of the back of a service truck. Over the years, that mission grew to include supplying companies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from head to toe and Facility Safety from the front office to the back door - as well as Rental & Repair Services.

Today, more than 50 million U.S. workers utilize PPE. What's more, with the move to a service-oriented economy, many organizations are looking for someone who can do more than just sell them safety products. They're looking for a supplier who can help them identify the correct product for the application; who offers training and support on the product; and who delivers the value of quality products, excellent service, and competitive price.
